Executive Assistant
The TL;DR version: This isn't a traditional executive assistant role — and we're not looking for a traditional candidate. At Geben Communication, we actively use AI tools to handle many traditional administrative tasks. That allows this role to focus on higher-value work: coordination, judgment, operational momentum, and making sure important thinking turns into real progress.

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Full Story.
This role is about owning the details that make the work run.
At Geben, the CEO is focused on strategy, relationships, and forward momentum. This role exists to complement that — by bringing structure, organization, and follow-through to everything that’s in motion.
You’ll work closely with CEO Heather Whaling as her operational partner, managing calendars, keeping communication organized, turning conversations into clear next steps, and making sure those next steps are completed.
It’s hands-on, detail-oriented work — and it has a direct impact on how effectively the business runs.
At Geben Communication, we believe in leveraging AI tools to create efficiencies so we can focus on higher-value work: coordination, judgment, operational momentum, and making sure important thinking turns into real progress. But we also know human judgment, decision-making and thoughtfulness cannot be replaced by AI, particularly in this role.
The best way to describe what we need: You convert thinking into forward motion.
We’re looking for someone who gets excited about the details, keeps things organized, and follows through consistently.
We’re not looking for someone who has been in this exact role for years. We’re looking for someone who is ready to grow into it.
Because you’ll be working closely with leadership, you’ll gain exposure to how decisions are made, how relationships are managed, and how a growing agency operates.
As Geben grows, this role will grow with it.
This is a role for someone who likes being the person others rely on to get things done well.
