POSITION OVERVIEW

In this role, you’d be a fully integrated part of our social media team and own portions of content writing, community management, and campaign ideation. This is a paid, 15-20 hour a week position with the goal of hiring someone who wants to grow with the company and take on more responsibilities.

What will you be doing as Geben’s social media intern? Every day is different, which keeps it fun and fresh, but some of your responsibilities will include:

 
 

Responsibilities

  • Execute community management across clients

  • Utilize social listening tactics to identify opportunities for meaningful engagements and surprise and delights 

  • Assist in content planning + development

  • Complete content revisions as designated by the client

  • Submit weekly trend + social media updates report

  • Shadow social media team members monthly to become well integrated within the department and knowledgeable of standards for social media clients 

  • Attend and contribute to client huddles and brainstorms, including providing innovative ideas for new social media campaigns 

Requirements

  • Central Ohio based

  • Available a minimum of 4 working hours per scheduled workday to work directly with the social media team

  • Currently working toward or recently graduated with a degree in Communication, Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, or Creative Writing

  • Basic understanding of social media platforms and a passion for social media marketing

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including style, grammar, and editing

  • Ability to multitask and work in a collaborative environment
